Both my parents are pagan, but i don't know, not really into religion, i agree with the "opiate of the masses".

Tis lovely to hear that there's so many pagan aspies out there seems to me religion means a lot to many of us and we're much more inclined to develop our own path of beliefs rather than slavishly following others' religous rulebooks. Seems to be a respect for other religions as well... I'da thought theory of mind would suggest that we couldn't accept that. My spirituality is very tied up with the genetic heritage which links me with ancenstors and descendants- the skills we have enjoyed and consequently developed are closely tied to our AS traits....mmmmm does this make me essentially a humanist?

I'm not a pagan but I am a BIG fan of paganism, I love the imagery and symbols. I wear a little pentangle necklace all the time, I've kept it on since the day I had it on christmas day. I also collect fairy orniments and display them on my shelves and when I had my room decorated a few months ago I wanted it to have quite a mystical/pagan-ish theme.
I nearly became a wiccan in 2008 but I changed my mind because I didn't know where to start and I don't believe in magic so there's not much point. But paganism is still my favourite religion and I'm interested in the old pagans like the celts and that.

I used to be a sort of Eccelectic Wiccan, but now I consider myself a general Agnostic. IMO, no one knows or will ever know what/who god is- therefore god probably doesn't care what you want to call "him". So, really it doesn't matter which religion one chooses (or if one chooses one at all). I do love to study the religions of the world though- in a purely academic way. I find it fascinating. I guess that's one of my "Aspie subjects"

I'm an Asatru follower. Atm I study runes and how to do runic readings. I've got a few Thor's Hammer's (a white ivory necklace, a beautiful metal one with a stone pendant, an Icelandic Dragon's Cross, a thin silvery one).
