Just to say hello. English, middle aged, female. Just discovered that I have Asperger's. Very strange to get to my point in life and find out something so huge about myself. It is as if I have been blind for years and never realised that I could'nt see! Very odd feeling.
Anyhow, I have found the experience to be incredibaly positive too. Having spent my entire life afraid that I was mad, it is wonderful to know that actually I am just autistic and the diagnosis has made such a positive difference to my relationship with friends and family.
