Age: 22

Why are you here? See above? And I'll call it a disorder grab-bag.

How did you find this website? I am the master of the internets. The site found me.

Any comments? perhaps...

What is your first name?: Gabriel

Age: 24

Location: Munich, Germany

Hobbies and Interests: Astrophysics, Computer Programming

Favorite subjects:
* Primary School: everything but History and Sports
* High School: Maths, Physics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Computer programming, English

TV shows/Movies:
* Series: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Red Dwarf, The Simpsons

What is your first name?: Camilla (but you can call me Micki, or any respectful nickname you like, I admire creativity)

Age: 20

Location: Vaasa, Finland

Hobbies and Interests: Boy, this is a tough one...generally eclectic. To sum it up...Music is my everything (listening and making), making and consuming art in general, including visual and verbal...all sorts of designing (photo-, film-, "fashion-" [even if I dislike the term 'fashion']). Science fiction (am pretty picky though). Psychology in all it's forms (especially criminal), philosophy, debates (as long as it doesn't become hostile arguing, I like to keep it decent). Dystopian science fiction...and oh, I have this huge thing for collecting vinyl records and ties. I go nuts on flea markets (not only for the LP's), and all second hand shops.

Why are you here?: Well obviously, to find like-minded people to interact with, and maybe provide myself with some answers regarding my rather odd behaviour and preferences (at least comparing to usual "standards" out there which are rather disturbing at times, as they can create a certain kind of "pressure")

When were you diagnosed?: My family discovered this in early -04, and since then I have made some thorough investigation on the matter and came to the conclusion that there is a high probability for me to be a case. Even if I don't like the concept of self-diagnosing. But I'll work on it.

Favorite subjects: I tried my best to sum it up in Hobbies & Interests. But if you mean school subjects, I'd say I liked everything. Bad teachers were the reason if something sucked, I saw the difference since I went to many different schools (9 first years to 5 different schools).

Year/Grade: Right now I'm stuck in my Art & Media/High School -combo studies because of health issues.

Favorite music: Few years back the answer would have been a strong "80's synth" -one...but now I've grew such an eclectic taste. Mainly synthetic...but there is pretty much at least something in most genres that I like. E.g, I'm no metal fan, but I like Ozzy and Black Sabbath.
But fave bands/artists include: Depeche Mode (Martin Gore = Genius), Jean-Michel Jarre, The Cure, Alphaville, Tears for Fears, Killing Joke, Ultravox, Kraftwerk, Das Ich, Jefferson Airplane, Joy Division etc...
So I like synthpop/-rock/-punk, industrial and such very much, but you can't draw the line there. I'd get bored if change wasn't allowed.

Books: Anything by King, Anne Rice etc...I like Orwell and Wells too, but mainly I just like reading anything that I find intriguing. I also love non-fiction as in fact- or documentary literature. I used to read my school books for recreation :D I have a huge love for dictionaries and encyclopedias. Wiki is my friend.

TV shows/Movies: I don't like TV, but some stuff I like enough to download. I liked Lost before I even knew it's a fad (...for the psychological aspect, like the reason behind all the survivors' behaviour. E.g. why Sawyer is being such an ass o_O quite interesting actually). Also if I am near an open TV, I enjoy comedy, but am picky though (Conan O'Brien is hilarious), and crime/cop series like CSI and NYPD Blue. I really really liked the show "Numb3rs" which is about mathematicians who are used to solve crimes with, surprise surprise, logic/numbers/math :O I really find this touches my nerve for logical, but still creative problem solving. I also think House is the best doctor-show ever. I am an avid X-files maniac too. OK, I like TV more than I'd like to admit o_O
I love the LOTR-trilogy, I have always been a Trekkie and an SW-nerd (the old trilogy), and I absolutely adore Blade Runner. David Cronenberg, John Carpenter and Tim Burton are my fave directors. Not forgetting Lynch or Lukas Moodysson as well. I basically like really obscure stuff.
Some adds to movie-list: Rain Man, Interview With a Vampire, Dracula, Back to the Future -trilogy, Life of Brian...

Instrument: Piano/keyboards and vocal cords mainly, but I also am a lot into base, guitar and drums. I wanna learn other, a bit more classical instruments too. Cello or clarinet would be great.

Do you like sports? Playing them, not watching. Even if I mostly like doing things solo, I like team sports like football (soccer to you Yanks), basketball, (Scandinavian) baseball, and floorball (am not sure how familiar the rest of the world is with this, it is pretty popular in Scandinavia).
One thing though that I would simply not live without is dancing. Because it's intervowen with music, you know. I love the creativity involved...the rhythm and groove. It's an art-form, and I love the power of the physical expression. Ball games in general

Family: Dad 400 km SE in the Capital, Helsinki....mom on the other side of the Atlantic in Florida...dad's parents and brother over in my home town Stockholm (Sweden), mom's mother and sisters in eastern Finland. So everyone at the distance of a 350 km -minimum which is ideal :) don't put us in the same room - we don't function together (the curse of having 95% of your paternal family AS-cases .__. )

Clothing: Black. With bright color-highlights. Casual. My own style, what ever I feel like at that moment. It changes like my moods.

How did you find this website? I think it was through wiki's entry on AS....

Job: Student/Street corner artist/class clown

Plans for the future? I'll keep my doors open, and choose my path from opportunities that come. I will move out of Finland though after graduation and preferrably head for Berlin or Amsterdam to either attend some form of Art College or maybe a course on criminal prychology at a uni. I still have time to make up my mind...

Any comments? Sorry for the verbal vomit. I guess I ain't very successful at describing myself in a nutshell, hah

Edit: Just added some random stuff, edits in cursive

Well, me for one, and if she's as cute as you... On the other hand, I haven't had the best of luck dating my friends' mothers. (I met my ex-wife's son years before I met her.)

So I'm guessing you have a thing for older women? 8O :D
