Hello. I'm Leah and I'm a 16 year old female. I was recently diagnosed with Asperger's. I've been seeing a therapist for about two years because I've had problems interacting with people. I probably would have been diagnosed earlier, (and I don't know if I'm the only one on this) but when I was little, I thought everyone had felt the same way I did, so I never vocalized the problems I had. People always just thought I was a little weird, or a bit "off". I found this website and was pretty glad (and nervous about posting) because I don't really have any friends at school, but I do have some friends online, and I came here thinking I might be able to make some friends who share the same troubles I do. It's also nice to see I'm not alone on everything! Anyway, sorry about the lengthy explanation!
A little about me - I love science fiction; my favorite TV show is Doctor Who. I love astrophysics, but I plan on going into the FBI as a criminologist. I like criminology a lot because it puts facts to behaviors and makes the actions of people easier for me to comprehend. My IQ is 118. I love to read and write. I read 1,000 words per minute. I'm writing a book. I speak a lot of German (as I take it in school) and I'm trying to self-learn French and Italian. I adore the indie genre of music.
So, hello!
