I'm a undiagnosed Aspie. I stumbled onto WP and found I wasn't alone. I'm in my fifties and have recently discovered I'm in the spectrum. Looking back at life things now make sense. I wish I knew then what I know now. Things might have been different. Perhaps I would have been aware of why I was reacting to life the way I was and adjusted accordingly. Well, it's a fresh start now. A second chance.

What a coincidence! I too doodle (thus the kingdoodle). However, not quite on your level--great stuff (I visited your sight!) I have thought for nearly half my life that I was the way I was because I was a failed artist (monetarily challenged--a source of constant anguish for my wife and sons.) But now I realize that the giftdeness was not the cause of my sorrows, my condition was. or rather not recognizing it was. I just thought i was crazy, and my family has suffered, both emotionally and financially ( I am nearly dysfuntional) Is there such a thing as a low-functioning autistic/asperger?
