Yes. Since I was in kindergarten. Luckily we're in an age now where penmanship isn't really an important skill. Teach her to type.

I had MASSIVE issues with handwriting legibility as a child and still do. I could spell fine and I could read my writing but no one else could drove the teachers mad and caused so many issues. I agree with the suggestion to teach her to type.

Yes. I tried writing excessively neat, but one of my teacher called it "childish time wasting", so I write rather sloppily,like I naturally do. I write with a certain style in terms of placement of letters, spacing, slant etc., but my peers are too damned lazy to figure it out.
