Yeah, I'm yet another new member just sayin hi. I'm an 18yr old aspie from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and I've recently come across this site and was suprised to know that such a community existed for people like us. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at age 16, and I dropped out of school shortly after. Thankfully, my Aspergers somehow lead me into the Hip-Hop scene, where I discovered bboyin (breakdancin) and soon met my neurotypical bestfriend/girlfriend (whom I've been with for over 2 years now). So to make it brief, I'm quite proud of bein an aspie, and I'll always keep that "wierd" side of me with me, regardless of what people say. Now I myself have my own share of bad experiences, such as bein picked up throughout my childhood, etc, but I learned a lot through these experiences, and now I have a decent social life. But to be honest, I do most of my socializin with my girlfriend or on the internet now - I'm just too lazy to go out nowadays. So hopefully I will now get to meet and chat with other aspies, read about the experiences of others and shares interests and ideas alike with others. This also seems like a great place to help my eyes open wider to the once before unseen world. Anyway, I'm lookin forward to meetin all of you, and I hope things will go better here than in person.

Oh yeah, does anyone here happen to play Super Nintendo games on zbattle.net? I happen to be one of the top players for Killer Instinct (you will often see me makin "expert only" games, and I'm well recognized in the KI scene in general), and I'd be glad to play anyone who thinks they're any good.

Haha, I forgot to mention this in my original post:

I have a very deep and profound interest (almost an obsession if you will) in the Ebola virus, cannabis, and music (artistically), and I want to become a composer. Unfortunately, I cannot write music on paper yet, so every lil thing that comes up in my head will eventually be forgotten until I can write it down in musical note form. Dreams are my source of creativity, especially the lucid.

I decided to add this as a new post rather than simply editin the original due to the fact that people are most likely to notice a difference in the content if there is a new post, rather than an edit which isn't noticeable until you actually enter the thread itself.
