Hello everyone.

My name is "Ken". I was told about this site by a very good friend of mine who has asperger's. I am not sure if I have aspergers myself, but I do have quite of the traits associated with it and if I do have it, a lot of the questions that I have would be easily explained. I don't have any insurance at the moment to get diagnosed but hopefully I will soon and perhaps get the clinical help I need. I have suffered from clinical depression and suicidal tendencies, so hopefully I can get the help I need. My support group isn't as tight as I would like it, so I'm hoping to strengthen it a bit more by joining this site. I do have a few great friends and a family member to help but my community and the people closest to me physically aren't much of a help.

A bit about myself, I'm a single African-American male in my early 20's living in New York City. Went to college and graduated with a BS Degree, Summa Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA. I've bounced around the East Coast over the last 4 to 5 years due to school and trying to find my place in my life. I've learned a lot about myself but its going forward that I have an issue with; finding the will to do for myself having one who has always done for others unselfishly. I am a fan of Anime, Video-Games, History, Politics, finding the right girl to be with (I have someone in mind and I am a huge romantic) Basketball and Meteorology.
