Ive been lurking for the past several days, and finally decided to get an account. Just to start of, Im not sure wether I'm an aspie or not, but i figured I should look into it more. I was friends with several aspies in high school, but didnt really notice how similar I was to them, especialy with the whole social awkwardness thing. I was sort of directed to the whole "Hey, you could have Aspergers" when one of my friends in the battalion looked it up, because they thought i seemed to have less social skill than most people, I seemed obsessed with Doctor Who, I apparently have unusual speech patterns, and most notably, dont like people touching me. At first I thought that they were just making fun of me, but when I mentioned it to my fiancee, she said she kind of assumed that i was an aspie (we had the same friends in high school). She spent several months trying to get me to look into it more, and she ended up having me do some tests online, and pretty much all of them were in the "most likely has aspergers" range (of course, online tests arnt the most accurate way to determine that). When she had me do the tests, I asked her to take them too, and she also scored in the same range i did (plus theres a history of ASD's in her family). So she is convinced shes an aspie based on those factors, so i figured i probably should look into the possability of me having aspergers as well
