Hello fellow aspies. My name is Emily. I am a whimsical, out-of-this-orbit college student from the Chicago area. I first suspected I was an aspie after discussing the possibility with my family. After my mother confessed she was wary of my arm flapping, jaw-clenching, aloof attitude toward others, and strange logic, I was relived to know I wasn't alone. So I ended up here.
I am an English major with specific aspirations. I am greatly appreciative of a well-composed piece of literature and I love finding beauty in the details of English grammar and composition. I am an aspiring freelance editor and writer who enjoys opportunities to put my skills into action. In terms of hobbies/interests, my "obsessions" would be Japanese street fashions, sustainable living, gardening, poetry, and photography.
I suspect I'll fit in just fine.
