Thanks! I am feeling a wee bit better today, but whatever it is is still not out of my system. I was feeling really bummed in addition to the illness because my fiance had a three day weekend and I was sick since Thursday. We had hoped to do something fun. He is good to me, and that helps enormously; he did most of the laundry and washed the supper dishes for me too. I have barely been able to eat anything but bouillion and toast or crackers and fruit.

I'm rambling here...Guess I'll fix some more green tea. Your emoticon inspired me to have some! :)

I miss drinking iced tea. When I was a teen until well into my twenties, I used to drink it by the quart. Now I have to avoid caffeine because of my heart. I was so glad to find that Lipton makes a decaf green tea! And of course there are all sorts of delicious herb teas to experiment with. Enjoy your cool drinks, mntn13!

Thanks! ( I dilute it down with H20 quite a bit ) hmm, caffeine, maybe that's partly why I'm so hyper today. Enjoy :) your 'iced green' hartzofspace!

We have new neighbors. They have rented a trailer that is behind our property. And I wish they would have a close encounter of the worst kind! They sit around outside without shirts. They have guests that we can hear coming from ten blocks away because those guests are driving a souped up car with cheap shiny hubcaps and a stereo system with subwoofers that could successfully communicate with aliens. And one of the new neighbors has a motorcycle that he spends about ten minutes revving up before taking a brief ride around the neighborhood. I melted down today because I am still feeling sick and wanted to lie down but had to wait for the above referenced noises to cease. We are thinking if possible, we will stick it out for a year or two then look elsewhere for a house. It is getting harder and harder to find peace and quiet on this planet.

:( Sorry that is happening, hartzofspace, hope you emerge from melt down soon and peacefully.

I am looking for a place still, in fact just about to leave for driving for a few days and searching all next week. It's to a fairly quiet area - in a small town, though a lot of hard drinking around there. So I'd better try and find out about noise ordinances I'm thinking.

I found this interesting web site about noise:
