I'll go first.

If you really knew me, you'd know that my Cockney accent is caused by a deviation in the formation of my nasal passages and that I didn't pick it up, from anywhere. You would also know that I think Speech Thearapy is a waste of time, money and personal dignity.

If you really knew me, you would know that my IQ is above average, at 113 points. You would know that I was mainstreamed in High School. I got As Bs and Cs in Grade 8. However, I've graduated on the A Honour Roll when I was in Grade 12.

If you really knew me, you would know that I spend half of my time socializing with other people, and that I don't spend all day in my flat, obsessing over members of the opposite gender, or Routemasters.

If you really knew me, you would know that I'm closer to my mum, than I am to my dad. It doesn't mean that I don't love my dad. The reason that things are like this, is because my dad was working away from home, up north durring the first three years of my life.

I knew what a Routemaster looked like, before I even knew there was a game called Hockey, and I was born in Canada. That was because of that Pre School trip to Victoria, BC that I keep telling you all about.

This message goes out to everybody. :)

You're getting at me with parts of that. You're right - I don't know you. And I'm very glad I can keep it that way.

If you really knew me, you'd know I don't tolerate crap like the above.

If you really knew me, you would plan on having a cold dinner if I invited you over to my apartment one of these days. I am terrified of hot food!

If you knew me...you would go running down the street screaming

No, quite simply...you would never know me because no-one ever really TRULY knows anyone else... in fact, more often than not, we do not even know ourselves.

Not a clue what you are talking about here so shall assume it is unconnected to me since I have made no reference to my looks.

If you really knew me, you'd know that i'm weird, not stupid.

If you really knew me, you'd know that despite my ASD, I'm really quite social under certain circumstances

If you really knew me, you'd know that even though I freak out at tapping or touching from other people, if you tell me about 30 seconds beforehand, I'll be okay with you.

If you really knew me, you'd know that I try to "pass" as an NT, but that I am aspie to the core inside myself

If you really knew me, you'd know that I am really just like everyone else; I love to eat god food, learn new and interesting things, study the old stuff even just for fun, stop and smell the flowers (and in typical aspie style, examine their shape, colour and size in analytical form), and meet new people (though I'm kind of shy at first, I do come out of my shell ;^) )

I'm not nearly as difficult to understand as people think I am.

Oh, I thought we'd be running down the street screaming when we see you because not all people look particularly appealing. I don't mean you, per se but does anyone else react when they see a person who doesn't look good in their opinion?

if you really knew me then you'd know that my favorite color is green.

if you really knew me then you'd realize that from afar i seem shy and bored looking but inside my mind is racing with crazy thoughts.

if you really knew me then you'd know that i used to have a turtle that we found in the sewers.

if you really knew me then you'd know that, when i'm really excited, i forget to breath.

if you really knew me then you'd know that my father is close minded about things that i'm open minded about.

No offense to anyone here at all. I was just asking if any of you thought it was obvious that some people don't look good.
