When were you diagnosed? when I was a teen, but didn't know about it until about a week ago!

Favorite music: indie rock, 90's alternative, classic rock, classic country, old school punk/new wave, old school hip hop, i'm all over the board, I don't go for much of the newer mainstream stuff though

Books: "Why Fantasy Football Matters (and our lives do not)

TV shows/Movies: I mainly watch sports on TV, but I do enjoy Beavis and Butthead. Does youtube count? If so I love CTFxC. Favorite movies: Walk the Line, Slapshot, Longest Yard (the original) Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke.

Instrument: pencil drums.

Do you like sports? Definitely a "Special interest". American Football, soccer, baseball, hockey, NASCAR, Rugby Union, Tennis, College basketball (No NBA please). Ill even watch Aussie rules football and cricket sometimes.

Hobbies and Interests: The Beatles, drawing (the Beatles), and the Monkees are a mild interest. I guess you could generalize and say that I'm interested in 1960s culture, but that would be a bit too broad.

Why are you here? I love the idea of finally finding people like me. I've always been drawn to autistic people, and now I guess I know the reason.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Officially diagnosed April of 2012.

Favorite subjects: Biology (specifically animal, more specifically human biology), history, psychology.

Year/Grade: Sophomore in college

Favorite music: 1960s rock, big band, classical.

Books: I love reading biographies, science textbooks, and ancient history textbooks. I used to read encyclopedias and dictionaries, but I think I finally stopped doing that.

TV shows/Movies: The Monkees (fits my sense of humor very well); I Love Lucy; The Dick Van Dyke Show; Disney's Tangled; Disney's The Lion King; A Hard Day's Night; Help!. I enjoy watching the Big Bang Theory as well, but only for Sheldon. The other characters irritate me.

Instrument: I played the clarinet, but I dislike the sound of that instrument. I can't really pick a favorite...they all sound good in different ways. Except flutes. Eeeek.

Do you like sports? I like watching them. Playing sports is a whole different story. I'm too clumsy, and it's just not very fun.

Family: Three younger siblings, mom and dad. A very significant portion of my extended family is autistic.

Clothing: Usually dark, cool colors. I don't really care about fashion. If I think something is cute I wear it.

Why are you here? Because I think and feel different. I've always felt like a phenomenon around "normal" people and I figured that I may belong in this planet filled with people that can understand me.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Not sure if I have it but I do suspect it. I fear that a real diagnosis will make my family think differently of me.

Year/Grade: High school graduate and looking for a career that will suit me best.

Favorite music: Any kind, but I love reggae and Bob Marley the most.

Favo subjects - history, economy, further any humanist subject.

Books: Don't read that much, and haven't been that impressed with what I have read. Currently reading Steven Kings 'Under the Dome', finished The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo a while ago.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): 5 months ago. But several psychologists have suggested an austistic spectrum disorder since I was kid. I have no clue why it took me so long to get diagnosed

Favorite subjects: History, anthropology, psychology, any language

Favorite music: the music I listen to has no clear pattern, I just kinda like what I like. Tori Amos, Kate Bush, M.I.A., Green Day, 80s music, Blondie, just to name a few.

Books: Historical fiction, The Hunger Games, pretty much anything and everything I can get my hands on. I love textbooks.

TV shows/Movies: Unsolved Mysteries! Anime! Hayao Miyazaki movies. I like almost all movie genres except action.

Instrument: Violin but I haven't played for years. I have an interest in learning piano. I can't read sheet music so it makes it difficult.

Do you like sports? For the most part no. I like to occasionally play them and I love watching the Olympics, but American team sports are boring and pointless.
