i'd like to brainst0rm everyone's thoughts on what traits are unique to an "aspie". ( an example of odd behaviour)

being reserved, introverted..etc

Hi, and welcome!

To compare notes, check out the You Might Be an Aspie thread.

We're all individuals, with differences, and different locations on the spectrum, so check out that thread for
both variety and similar patterns.

Some awfullly common things: sensitivity (hypo or hyper) to light, same with sound sensitivity (often, it's more like hearing tests fine, but cognitive processing of sound is different than NT), dislike of crowds, social anxiety to some degree, HORRID handwriting -- which is part of fine-motor skills issues, tendancy toward high intelligence/accomplishment in one or more areas.

The list goes on, but there's a start.

Tell me if this is a unique trait. Beware of sudden or unexpected intrusion into personal space. I often get " YAHHHHH! DAD you scared me almost to death!". Even when he's snuggled up to me watching TV or reading a book. By the way, welcome, I think you will like this planet.
