Always coffee. what kind do you like? I have flavored (southern peacan), Kona, Folgers and a folgers less caffine (half and half blend). See anything you like? Think there is more in the cupboard too.

The Japanese did them, I'm thinking turn of the century, but probably a little later. Been a while since I looked it up. Picked them up while I was in a little shop in Delaware, one of our states. I wish I could remember just how, bet you could google it. For some reason I'm thinking with very small bamboo. May have been brushes, I just don't recall anymore.

My parents won't let me have caffeinated coffee, so I have decaf, but I usually mix it with some turkish coffee (brand=Mehmet Effendi, which I think means "Mr. Mehmet", but I don't know...) when no one's looking.

Googled it, but all I'm finding is things on sake.

EDIT: I found some, but they're Chinese.

That may very well be correct. I'm not even sure where in this mess of mine they are. I think some were more for trade, less then for their own use.

I tend to get carried away with introduction topics anyway!

... Here's an anomaly, though, at least from what I've gathered of Aspies: I've never been interested in math. I'm a senior in high school but I'm in a low math class and even though my math teacher said I have a very good grip on the concepts, my arithmetic is ridiculous. I still have to do my nine times table by hand (I figure out 9 X 6 by subtracting 60-6 and for some reason I keep forgetting it's 54.

I'm a mathematician. As I have remarked elsewhere on WP, I don't do sums. How else do you figure out that 9*6 is 54? (Answer - I use a spreadsheet or code it in C#).

In any case, welcome aulos. Have fun.
