I make my own apologies, Troll.

Obsessiveness and the linking of concepts in a manner considered "tangential" by NTs are both Aspie character traits. I've apologised for going off topic, and I feel that you are being insensitive to my traits as an Aspie.

Furthermore, I dislike anyone who attempts to put words into my mouth.

Well said,

I do not try in inflame and I do not like being called a Troll. I always try to be civil but I sometimes come off stronger than I really want too always have, never able to control it. Aspie, Aspie, Aspie.

Funny world we live in, I was just debating you now I am THANKING YOU.

Well I'm off to bed now (it's 1am here), so you can all go back to saying hello to M_LibertyGirl, who does sound pretty cool, and as mentioned previously shares some of my characteristics and experiences... though maybe not the ability to create arguments out of thin air.

M_LibertyGirl, I'd like to know more about your social issues, as I have problems but don't really know where to start with sorting them out, or at least coping with them. Have you been given any guidance or worked out any tricks to get through each day?

Welcome aboard, M_LibertyGirl! Don't let the others and their babbling get you down.

I am well aware of the situation in your part of the world and very much know how a small number of intolerant hotheads can make life miserable for the rest of us average peace-loving people. I am hopeful that cooler heads can ultimately prevail and that your area can flourish once again. My best wishes to you and be not afraid to be a full and active participant in these forvms!

:D

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black   .

Do not get me wrong, I LOVE your stories. I wish that I could write with such eloquence but come on, talking about your domination of others and feeling like a cat being able to communicate with the animals. You go so far off track sometimes that I feel that you are coming from outer space, not that there is anything wrong with that.

She is from Iran right next door to where I AM RIGHT NOW AND HAVE BEEN FOR 20 MONTHS!! !

I asked her about her President because I have some serious concerns about getting blown up by a nuclear device here in Baghdad. Iran and Iraq fought for 9 yrs (not sure of the exact figure). I did not start all of this, but it is relavent because of where I am and what I am going through.

I am amazed by her normalness. In Pattaya, Thailand last year, three Iranians started talking to me outside the Hard Rock Hotel about the war in Iraq and talked about "Those bastards in Iraq, I hope you Americans kill all of them!" "Oh and by the way, do you know what the problem with the World is right now?" "No.", I answered naively. "That Bastard Joseph f****d that b***h Mary 2000 yrs ago and begat that BASTARD JESUS!" I almost stabbed him in the neck right then, but I walked away.

I could not believe that I could be having a cival conversation to have someone come out of the blue and insult me, my religion and everything I stand for JUST LIKE THAT!! He was Iranian. That is why I am asking this girl questions, because I want to not be upset with all Iranians just because of a jerk in Thailand.

Do you remember the RIOTS all over the world because of a couple of cartoons of Muhammad?

This man insulted my depest held beliefs like he was swatting a fly. If He could do this, why couldn't his President blow up Israel just for the hell of it if he got the Bomb?

Anyway, at least I got to go to Thailand.

What an A$$hole! I'm really sorry that of all Iranians, you met this jerk. Believe me most of our people aren't like that! I'm not a Muslim but most of my friends are, and they are very good and unprejudiced people. I've known some Christians over the years and they were all very nice and kind people. Our country is definitely not Iraq as we are not Arabs. they have a very different culture. but I think it's something like the old wars between catholics and protestants. it's definitely something that belong in centuries back and not in the modern world. but I suppose Iraq wasn't ready for a democratic government. as democracy is a culture not something you can export with bombs. it's something that has to happen within a society.

of course there are extremists in every country and unfortunately for us, ours are running the country. but believe me no ones going to wipe anywhere of the map. for one thing juresalim is a holy land for Muslims too. Muslims are just against the Zionist government not all the people in Israel. We all want the two country plan to happen so the whole mess can be resolved.

plus your government is not afraid of ahmadinejad bombing Israel, they're afraid if Iran gets the nuclear bombs it will change the power balance which is not according to their plan of th"new middle east" if you know what i mean.

If our government must be changed, it should be by our people not by foreign force. we do need your support but not your bombs.

Welcome to WP LibertyGirl, hope you'll find us interesting and helpful.
I have exactly the same problems with shopping and talking on the phone, unless it's written down I tend to stutter and can't think what I should be saying on it.So I try to avoid it when I can.
Nature is one of my greatest interests and I love poetry that speaks of its grandeur especially by William Wordsworth who appreciated it so much.
Getting into the countryside is so therapeutic for me,far away from people and their chaos.
What are your favourite novels?I read a lot and all sorts of things.

Thank you again M_Liberty!

There is hope for your country.

I hope you can help bring about change.

I can only hope for change in my country too. I just read today about how bad the government is wasting money. Nothing new but it is getting worse with our being in Iraq. I see the dollar's value falling against all of the other major currencies and I worry that my government is leading us down a slippery slope to the collapse of our society.

I think it is fantastic that you can talk about these differences without getting angry or upset with me for being curious.

I hope you enjoy this forum, I know that I have so far. I am still learning about Asperger's everyday.

It is uncanny all of the little strange thing personality quirks that I thought were unique are shared by so many others.

Thanks once again for your honest answers,

crazedchef

hi, same thing here about not knowing what to do or say (often a while afterwards it seems obvious what I SHOULD have said), and no close friends even though i get along fine with the people at uni (I'm doing a phd in chemistry). I'm a bookworm too. Welcome to WP.

Our countries have a lot in common quite honestly.

1. We both have idiots for leaders

2. Our nations are making as*holes of themselves

3. We both have oil (Texas actually has quite a bit of oil but it's still too little)

More appoligies. It seems like you look like a girl someone had a crush on in the fourth grade, that belongs in Love and Dating.

Welcome to WP, LibertyGirl. You will probably receive hundreds of marriage proposals due to your first post alone.

I'm a little distressed by the turn this thread has taken. In any case, I love your personal signature. It's spiritual and very appropriate for this forum. It will be hanging in my cubicle tomorrow (until I commit it to memory by the end of the day).

Actually, your english is great.

I cannot find any obvious flaws.

There's little things that only a grammar Nazi like me would see but it's on par with the everyone else's English so far.
