Hi All!
So, I never know what people want to read in these kinds of things, but I'm going to wing it:
I'm not formally diagnosed as and Aspie, but I strongly suspect it and am thinking about talking to my therapist about it this week. I've been trying to avoid asking outright because I want to see if she comes to it on her own, but I haven't gotten any kind of a diagnosis yet and I've kept reading (from other users on here) that getting an answer either way can be liberating, so I'm pretty motivated to find out.
More general information on me:
I love movies and TV
I also like reading and writing
I am about to finish graduate school and I'm going to be a therapist (interestingly, this training has really helped me in my everyday conversations! although I do tend to be a therapist all the time... I'll save you all the psychobabble).
I play guitar and I listen to / play all kinds of music
I communicate better in writing than I do verbally
I'm getting married in a few months (and am simultaneously excited and terrified!)
I'm looking forward to get to know everyone on here!
