I love the colour of your hair! Is it your natural colour?

The way you feel about yourself as disgusting upsets me. I think that teeth are seen as an indicator of health and possibly youth in humans. Think about how people judge horses based on teeth than you can apply it teeth. The difference is that humans have capabilities such as surgery to create a more accepted appearance. Also yellow teeth are seen as a indicator of poor hygiene. Poor hygiene can be associated with diseases and thus less healthy. If you have the means I would suggest going to a dentist to make your teeth and thus you seem healthier. It also might help your self image be better.

I hope that I have not said anything offensive because I mean no harm and sometimes I say things that are offensive without realizing it.

I like your glasses. Are you from Texas? Your username is "Lone Star", so that's why I'm asking that question.

Hei :) nope, im from Norway. My name "Lonestar"...its more like a lonesom star :) There i shine alone :) you see ?

Your answer (“its more like a lonesom star :) There i shine alone :) you see ?”) touched me. For more than one reason.

1° "Lone star"... My pseudo, "Fetika", is a word in reko paumotu (a Polynesian language spoken in the Tuamotu islands) meaning "A star that shines high in the night sky" (as opposed to an "eeva" which is a star that shines low over the horizon). Hence also my avatar which is a twinkling star (a fetika);

2° I chose this pseudo (and avatar) because I do feel lone. I always did in fact. Since I am a child, I felt I saw clearly obvious social mistakes that humans make daily and that cause them much more problems and sufferings than all natural catastrophes put together. Like, for instance, being more self-centered than gregarious, more money-oriented than group-oriented. I tried to tell them, to share what I saw and they seemed sometimes not to understand, more often not "wanting" to understand or, most of the time, not even noticing I said something.

3° I felt that this vision I held inside (Tibetans call it "Inner knowledge") was like Truth: impossible to change or to hide, shiny, but almost nobody cares, and many who do care because it may be dangerous to their self-centered interests. However I knew this 'inner knowledge" was true because it allowed me to understand many things that most humans don't, which allowed me to be able to predict many things that actually happened.

4° This made me feel like I was (and still am, many decades later) like a lone star. Just like the star who can't help but shine wether we look or not, wether we care or not, and whose light cant teach us so many things about the Universe we live in, but is unreachable; I felt far away from humans, I couldn't help but let this inner knowledge speak out through me wether they cared or not, and unreachable because of the differences that creates a communication barrier as efficient as the light-years distance of a star.

So, here is a picture I present to my (very few) friends who ask if I have a picture of me ;

P.S. : I also live in a northern country: Canada.

Fetika that WAS really amazing. Also Texas is "The Lone Star State" which is why the question was posed. No confusions. :)

Salome- so has my aunt, actually. 3 of my 4 uncles have my color, but neither my Aunt or my mom got it. They lecture me when I cut mine too short for their liking or when I dyed it for theatre. :roll: silly ladies, it wasn't permanent.

Thanks CheredIsTyping ; I didn't know about Texas. Why is it called "The Lone Star State"? Was there, at a certain moment, a star set aside for Texas on the US flag?

Each state has it's own star on the American flag

"The Lone Star State" comes from the symbolism of the star on the 1836 flag of the republic, the "National Standard of Texas." The single golden star on a blue background signified Texas as an independent republic and was a reminder of the state's struggle for independence from Mexico. The "Lone Star" can be found on the Texas State Flag and on the Texas State Seal today."

That explains it. Thanks Feralucce.

@ AnonymousAnonymous : Yeah : it was a cheap populist movie. For entertainment only. Easy, you-won't-have-to-think entertainment.
