Hi, my name is Finn! I'm not yet diagnosed but my specialist told me to try to find communities for autistic folks online while we go through the process. It looks like I have Aspergers and I have a few professionals holding to that (plus my mom) but nothing official yet. I was previously diagnosed with ADHD so it looks like it might've been a case of misdiagnosis.
I'm happy to be here and I hope to meet cool people and learn cool things. :flower:

High Functioning Autism replicates many of the symptoms of ADHD as well as OCD, so it's not an uncommon misdiagnosis. AS is just much more complex. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Yes, that's what my psychiatrist told me! I totally understand why I had the ADHD diagnosis haha. Thank you!
