Hey, to introduce myself my names Joel. I'm 22 years old.

I've been on here before but haven't actually started an account until now. I'm looking to meet some like-minded people that understand how it is having this kind of personality, and talk to people who actually understand. Throughout my life I've kind of felt like an outsider compared to the other people around me and it feels like I don't really 'belong' anywhere which makes me a bit sad.

This year I started at university however I am thinking about changing courses as I think it would suit me better in something else.

I'm pretty easy going and have a sense of humor, im not sure if im an introvert or extrovert, probably a bit of both. I'm not depressed nor have I ever been in trouble with the law. I'm not a weirdo or a violent person, just an average guy that has made an online account and I can't think of anything else to say so yeah.

Thats a bit about me so nice to meet you!

- I'll probably edit this post a couple of times because I won't be sure if it sounds good or not, have I given enough information? who knows, but let's just leave it at this for now.

I don't think it's all that often people meet up through WP, but if you were looking for real life friends, try websites like meetup.com

Welcome :)

Welcome Joel :)

Wind, I'm not sure whether or not he meant "meet" in a literal sense, though making real life friends through the site is entirely possible

Thanks guys :) Yes to clarify I meant meeting people online but that's not a bad idea either. I guess i'm here to improve on my social skills as I recently found out during my course that I really wasn't that good at it at all. From doing nothing to going straight to full time study made me aware that I have much to work on if I ever want to get qualified as something. Not only that I get some anxiety when I don't really know the people well and this further puts me off doing anything.

hmm I don't really do that much to be honest, I like watching tv, keeping up to date on the latest series etc. I find that I often think quite a lot to myself, nothing in particular really. I'm thinking about learning the guitar because everyone in my family seems to be playing it so I guess i'll have a go at that. I used to go out in town a fair bit but no so much anymore, its probably been a year since I last went out. I also like gaming, science and travelling. (I'm not really into cars or bikes). and im thinking about changing into IT because it would probably suit me better, and more likely to get a job if I do that.
