My son, 16, dxed @12 w/aspie. Relate to your guilt feeling, but decided it

got in the way of us having a better relationship. Worry used to kill me

too, or anger @ the NT knuckleheads in his life ( I'm Aspie, too). The

"pro's" are the ones who used to get my goat the most. Anyway, we're

doing a whole lot better now, you will too.

Im a mom of an undiganosed aspie. He will be 11 yrs old this summer. He is bright and smart and focused on things he is interested in. He sees so much from a different angle but it works...and alot of the time its way better than what Ive been doing.

He is going to see a host of doctors on tuesday. We will be at the CDRC all day long. Im nervous, yet curious what they will say.

Im glad I was sent this link...my mom found this site and Im glad she did.

wWhen my son was younger, especially as a baby (he is #3 of 4) I thought he was such a good boy. He hardly cried, didnt want to be coddled...I could get tons of stuff done...looking back I now see all the markers I missed. Feeling guilty....all parents do at some point. But thankfully you recognozed it and are a support person for your son!

So far, this site seems to be an excellent place to gain insight and support.

Cheers!~Dandy

Thanks everyone, I love this forum. It's therapeutical to me as a parent to see so many others who share my concerns and love for our children.
