Hello, everyone at WrongPlanet! I found this site when I was looking for an article about autism and neurodiversity, and decided to register and start posting. I officially have High Functioning Autism, but in practice it's more like Asperger's than traditional autism. That said, life isn't always a picnic for me. I'm not out of high school yet, so my mother is always (so it seems) on my case about not doing anything socially unexpected, and I have trouble making friends and reading social cues. I tend to get annoyed when things don't go my way, which has been described as a "Rock Brain tendency".

But I'm not just "an autistic": I have a life! I play in my school orchestra, cheer for wrestling, and look forward to college and hopefully medical school. :)

So, that's me at a glance. Enjoy! :D

Welcome, I know what you mean about people wanting you to be socially normal. This happens to me too, but I have now left secondary school(UK)!
