Hi, I am here looking for some information and support from people who have btdt.
I'm in my 40s but have only recently been diagnosed. I'm still trying to process that idea that I am actually aspie.
Also I have a couple of children on the spectrum, so we are on a constant merry-go-round of assessment, therapy and so on with them.
I suffer from depression as well so I often feel down and discouraged, not able to handle things.
Supposedly I am very 'high functioning' and very 'intelligent', however I am not really good at anything and definitely don't have any special talents.
Sorry this sounds a little bit negative, I do have good days but today isn't one of them!
Anyway, I just thought it would be polite to say hello before I start poking around on here *wave*

hi, kezc,

i'm sure you're good at a thing or two. depression tends to rob of of our ability to see the good in ourselves.

Hey, Kezc. My husband and I are close to your age and can relate to your merry-go-round analogy. Nice to meet you.
