Hi, I'm a well-educated, youngish woman with many hopes, wants, needs, and dreams. I have had an Asperger's diagnosis for a very, very long time -- along with a few other things! :D But mostly the Asperger's. I believe in the color pink, the nutritional power of eggs, and the comfort of soft, silky blankets.

Forums stir up a deep distrust from the bottom of my soul. They appear strange and cult-like. Shadowy and labyrinthine. My limited experience of them has been discouraging. But hey! why not. Autism can be pretty alienating and mysterious to have and it might prove useful to compare notes.

So happy hellos to you all! Please accept and do not hate the creature that is me.

EDIT: Things written while drunk sound weird.

Welcome. I've had some bad experiences with forums, too, but I find it helps to be selective about what you share. Sometimes people are more understanding in private away from the bad eggs.

Thanks for the welcomes, all! Being selective about what I share sounds wise -- probably I am already heading in that direction though. XD Pretty solid advice for any online interaction, really, as well as for life in general. :P

Much respect for the liking of a deep silky pink, which sounds like such a wonderful color it brings warm fuzzy feelings to my heart. The more kinds of pink there are to adore, the better, I say.
