I don't want to HANG around this pot thing to much. I love the damn stuff. To start with people become halfway bearable, and I can last maybe 30 sec. listening to some uninformed individual talking about something that person does not comprehend---take all these damn Doctor you are (i guess) quote.
If you smoke pot and get wierd, and don't enjoy you altitude--then all I can say is, come in for a landing and don't smoke.
Now check this out. I work (volunteer) with an environmental ed. center, when the time is right I toke a little weed and work out in the forest, or marsh----talk about expansion--(expansion concerning steel frame construction--bad---expansion while walking in the woods, high---goood VERY good.) First, my hearing is multiplied, I know I am crazy (thank you) there is all kinds of dialog happening. The small birds notify everyone I am there so I make noise and most of the birds or animals calm down. An talk about inspiration, my mind go all over the place, I am many times writing down things to help me recall them. When you get over the beginning lift and open up, nature is really a cool-ass thing.
Yea, heard today that most homes have air polution three time worst then most cities---As people with AS we must choose what is right for us--(not what someone else is telling us)
OK, enough on pot---out of a say week, I get to smoke couple days if lucky
Dude, you said the pot word. you know about kids, they pick up the pot and don't get the rest of the message. it's all good. But my days of child rearin are long gone, my days of raising grandkids is closing fast and all I do with the great grand kids is hold em and marvel. No real need to explain it to them, if you start, it just won't end, lol. Got any hash? I haven't had any in years. I gots to stay away from the opium, it liked me and I liked it, way to much.

Ok, the Full Moon is tonight, get out and enjoy it, lets see,--- I am Mid-Atlantic-USA --tonight around 60 degrees clear skies. How about you--man, you have alot of dangerous critters there.
Sometimes i relate to the indians that roamed the land before me ( man, we really screwed them over good) They did not have time pieces, clocks to run there lives, like we are machines---The Indians watched the sky, the full moon marked your passage thru life. Many times it was a time of festivial--------you all have the aboridige ??? (spelling) native people of the land down under.
Anyway, the Indians, lived natural, harmony with natural and nature. Trusted in fellow man did them in----it's a real b***h story----the moon is my way of showing respect to them before me, who knows, maybe the real God's people.
RaeRae----
Damn, you note hit home. Hey, don't even think it is to late for him. #1 ask yourself, overall is he happy. One of the greatest gifts I gave myself years ago was the ability to do things, go places, alone. The world places false importance being involved in things like sports, church etc. Hell, half the professional (so called professional) people live completely false lives---and church--do I really need to go there, what with the problem in the Catholic C.---don't get me wrong, I am a Charismatic Evangelical--Non-denomination--( I believe in Jesus but not part of any church)
Don't ever, ever give up on your dad. We had the entire arsenal of the federal gov. mind people back then using every trick in the book to convince the soldiers to do things, things we knew were wrong but obeyed orders.-----Your dad is a survior, man's got a strong will and probably a kind heart----there is a BIG percentage of guys who just went and check out of life after they returned to the states..
I am 58, I was in Viet Nam 68/69---I was close to 3 men after Nam---they are all gone-----Love your father the best you can, for in doing so you will bring some piece into his life and ---when he is gone you will have piece in yours---not regret
Hey, that mountain place sounds go to me
Australian "indians"....watch,"The Last Wave"...the dream time really spoke to me.Some cultures have respect for the nonphysical world...including dreams.....loved that movie.

Big "negative" on the hash---sh__ been 20 yrs. or more.
VN 68/69---mostly III corp, Quon Loi---Phonu Vinh---artillary--FB stuff. last 4 months got lucky I was about 35 miles from Siagon---but still almost died about half doz. times.
There is a God-----seems like times, not all the time, actually not most of the time, but the important times in my life there it is --whatever I really needed showed up. Of course, it takes a life time too understand and look back and see that what at the time did not seem that great was in reallity outstanding---
Yea, I know about the VA thing, maybe chew it over later. You know it seemed that every time I got to drink'in or little party I get all fire up talkin bout the Nam---of course, anyone that did not go there was "run off" and I was lookin around at no body but me----no biggie---took a while, We that carry the extraspecial AS genes are also --extrasmart--in our own idividual ways---I just figure it out---you have got to LIMIT yourself to talk about the NAM, man 99.99% of the world was not there---I carry a lot of good memories and concentrate on those. What the good book tells us---think on the good things----I got a picture of me holding a M-16 and a M-79 with a ammo belt buck--ass--naked-----good things to remember.
Krex,
I don't recall seeing that flick, I do love that instrument I think it is called a dig--er-re-do something like that---cool sound and no electrial anything, them Indians in Austrailia played it for couple zillion eons before the outside world heard it. Can you dream this dream, that you are in the outback on a perfect night with a full moon, your campfire "specialist" (my second son is a campfire specia;ist--Good God, never say you want a big fire) anyway, he has got a nice fire rolling, flames 10,12,15 feet in the sky. On the mountain next over a band of oboriginee's play that dig-er-re-do thing------now damn it, don't tell me you would not want to puff a little reefer ! !! !! ! ***LOL***
Thankful we (AS) can go there whenever

Get a chuckle out of what some of us call "got lucky".
Gotcha on the good people/times thing. I met a lot of good people while in, had some good times. Knew there were going to be people that didn't like the deal anymore then I did. What the hell is up with the naked and armed deal? I got that one too. Ah, never mind doesn't matter, lol. Pleased you found a higher place, not the same as mine. Sort of like choices in music, I don't live for jazz, but some people like it, doesn't mean I can't still see the beauty of it. But man is it strange how it all seems to come out of left field sometimes, how when you least expect it, BAM, right there.
I was in a Victor Charlie outfit, s**t, mean Charlie Victor. Keep forgtten not to switch the letters, not my fault, little backwards reading here. Victor really was "puff"only the 20 mike mike kind, not the mini. Had a friend in roughly the same area doing the red leg thing about the same time. I wonder. Naw, big world. Last name is Dresseler (sp), lol, have no idea what nic he might have picked up, from central Penna., Rich would have been a token. Never know, it could happen. Ok, enough already. Rather talk about the woods, photos and talkin to the animals. You'd like my back yard, a lot, yes you would. Peepers just got out a few nights ago and been seeing the goldfiinches for a while. The great blues are out of the highland swamps and on the streams. Be happy when I can leave open the big door in my cave at night and listen to the owls talk to each other. The nesting eagles haven't let the young ones up the small stream out back yet, some years they don't show. Saw my first cinniamon bear last fall, what a sight. Some raptor was flying around in the back field was too fast for me to get an id on it. When mothers day floats near that will mean the leeks are ready to be picked and the jack-in-the pulpits are in bloom in that special spot. Yeah, I think you'd like my back yard.
Hey on the VA thing, pssst, found some small print, don't tell anybody and pass it on. It can be a serious head butt, almost feels like the system has got you again and they don't like to let go. Can't start into a VA rant, I save those for when I'm there. But one of my little rant/meltdowns got a female in, finally as a counciler at my local. I found it strange that I could talk to the lady folk much easier about some things then to men. How unmanly of me, roflmfao. Took me a while to see that, I carry a 2x4 around for a good head thumpin, have to, sometimes I don't see the simple, that things can be hid the best right in plain sight. Yeah, you know where I got the lesson from I don't like to let the Wife know where I keep it, she likes to use it too much for other reasons.
FTA all the way.
