It pains me to read things like that. Why does everyone have to go through this? Archmage, it is very good that your Mother has called the cops. Maybe it will deter at least some of the bullies. Maybe next time school authorities will take matter more seriously, knowing that police was involved.

Thanks, Magic. it's been a whole week since that happened, and they still leave me alone. they haven't been able to get me this weekend, because i was in St. Louis. we went up to visit family, and we got to see the Navy Blue Angels at an airshow. it was great, only i think that it was a little to loud (six jets with dual engines flying right over our heads at 500 feet altitude, for pete's sake. 8O) we were planning to go swimming, to, but we didn't. Shame. i would had loved to go back to Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags St. Louis.

Speaking of "Hurricane Harbor", give my regards to the people of Florida.
They're really out of luck, with Hurricane Charley weakening them, Frances still thrashing them off the west coast, and Ivan yet to come: all three stronger than the previous one. ive got family in Florida, and my grandparents are now living out of Grandpa's cargo semi truck( he works for a transport company) until their house is repaired. i'm sure that Ivan will level what Charley and Frances missed. im wishing them luck, and i hope that you will, too.:|

Archmage, I am glad to hear that bullies have left you alone. Let's hope it stays this way. Police has sometimes a very positive and immediate effect on some people.

Thanks, Magic. As far as im concerned, the law is on my side, since ive never gotten in trouble with the police (and i dont cry wolf to them either, unlike what Chunk did on The Goonies :skull: )Anyways, i havent been picked on since, if you dont count a few harsh verbal exchanges (Hector says Im ret*d? look in the mirror, Mr IQ = 12! :shameonyou: :skull: :nerdy:   ). any ways i made a great acheivement today: i got through all my classes without a hitch without my aide withthree substitutes! :D (or rather, two subs, but one taught two classes.) i tried to celebrate with a ride on my electric scooter, but it blew a tire on my twelve millionth lap, and now im  at the :nerdy: people at the scooter store for screwing it up (first a battery defect, then a blown fuse, then a screwedup headlight/signal system, and now this!   :shameonyou: :shameonyou: :shameonyou: ) Any ways, just Wanted to check in. My name is Meg and I am 12 years old. I am a rabid HP fan. I have read the series thrice over. I am currently reading (in addition to HP) the Wiches' Chillers series. Have you heard of them? They are in the young adults section of Borders and they are under Fiction/Mystery/Witchcraft. They are written by Silver RavenWolf. That is such a cool name. I just wanted to say hello to you. You seem very cool.

Hello, Meg. Im sorry I never wrote back to you. ive just been extremely busy busy lately. i think its cool that you like the HP series. i still like them, but i am having to read elsewhere because ive read all 5 about twelve thousand times and im waiting for #6 to come, which wont be for a while. ive never heard of the Witches Chillers series, though. ill have to check that out.

Incidentally, have you heard of the seiries called The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey? They are my newest favorites. Its about these space colonists who are looking for a planet to live on to get away from Earth and Alpha Centauri 1. they land on an earth-like planet in the Rukbat system... only to find that the planet is under siege! Tiny spores that fall from the sky like silver threads (hence the name Thread)
turn into mindless, slug-like organisms that devour anything living in their path. the colonists notice that the only way to kill Thread is by setting it on fire. they also notice that the small, winged lizards that inhabit the planet work together to attempt to kill Thread; they congregate at Threadfalls, breathe fire on it(big hint), and teleport between to safety. The colonists then realized that the only way to survive the invasion of Thread is to create...But i wont spoil the ending. the books are really great, even if they do contain slight profanity and *ahem* sexual references. those can be ignored or bleeped over. they make for some great reading.

Thanks for thinking im cool. you're kinda cool yourself.

Oh, by the way, i just did a mock job interview for my economics class. it was kinda fun. we had to play ourselves 10 years into the future. i applied for a job as a meteorologist for the project. i had a resum`e and everything. it was kinda cool. i think i am really going to be a mmeteorologist in the future.

Ive got to go. i have homework to do. :(

Oh. Sorry. i didn't mean to yell in your face. im just extremely happy at the moment. you see, my dad just helped me fix my electric scooter after three whole weeks of waiting! it had a flat tire and a crooked axle, but not anymore! I just tested it an hour ago, and it worked like charm and then some! Now i can show those sons of b***hes on the south end what for, now that i have a retreat method(just in case things go wrong). ill dedicate every punch and whack with a hiking pole to, well, everyone(except them!) I gotta sign off. See you later!

SON OF A B****************************************! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE THIS THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !!

I don't believe it! just two days after my scooter is fixed, the front tire blows! I was just facing off with Matthew, the leader of the South End Gang, and i turn around and speed away, and my front tire blows on a broken beer bottle! lucky my dad was down the street, or i would have been roadkill! i'm gonna get it fixed, and the tire was on the front wheel, making it easier to fix, but nevertheless, If i find out who dropped that beer bottle , then watch your back, whoever dropped it, cause I AM GOING TO HURT YOU!

Soooooo.......She thinks im second rate, eh? I know she likes me, but she's already got a boyfriend, so before she goes with me, she has to break up with this puny 7th grader....perhaps i can hasten this process....heh heh heh. Oh. sorry. i wasn't paying attention. you see, i was plotting. an evil, dastardly plot it is, too, that i have been thinking of. you see, there's this girl that i have a crush on at my school, and, after a few conversations with her friends, i found out that she already has a boyfriend, but thinks of me as "second place". So, before she goes out with me, this boy has to go. Heh Heh Heh.....Time for Operation Star Split!

OPERATION: STAR SPLIT

PHASE I
Find good, trustworthy ally that is persuasive and an eligible boy.

PHASE II
Ask ally to pose as target's girlfriend's boyfriend.

PHASE III
Spread rumor to target that ally is girl's boyfriend.

PHASE IV

IF...

...TARGET DISBELIEVES RUMOR

Find another ally.

...TARGET CONFRONTS/BREAKS UP WITH GIRL

Comfort girl during period of distress and hope she takes the hint.

...TARGET CONFRONTS/FIGHTS ALLY

Hunker down, lie low, and hope that the resulting fiasco doesn't bring all the fires of Hell crashing about your ears. :o

There you have it. Idiot-proof in design. i just hope it works....

I am Archmage the archmage! Greetings to you all! My mother showed me this site, and now i am a member! Thanks to the considerate and super-intelligent wizards (the site admin.) that conjured this site for us to enjoy and allow me to join! But enough of that. Let me tell you a little about myself...

I will not divulge my true name to this site, or i will be at the mercy of the bane of the supernatural, the abnormally cruel people that work at the disonorable American organization known as Area 51(although they concentrate most of their time and resources on unmasking the extraterrestrials). However, I will tell you this: i am 13 years of age (i am the youngest archmage ever!) am currently in the 8th grade of normal school, and have been classified by "psychologists"(non-magical doctors that try to understand the mind) as having "Aspeger's Syndrome"(the non-magical name for the symptoms of possessing a magical gift). As my name, intro, and message implies, i am obsessively interested in anything that has to do with magic. My favorite book/movie/game series are: Harry Potter (obviously), The Lost Years of Merlin, The Legend of Zelda, and Protector of the Small (i know its a girly book but i do not care). I hope that i will find some friends here, preferably some with simalar interests. if you would like to chat, send me a private message and i will contact you when i see you are online on this site.

By the way, an archmage is a "boss wizard". they are more powerful and know more than most wizards, and can teach them.

P.S. i am not really a wizard, i just like to imagine i am. Or do I?

P.P.S. I happen to know how to read and write runes. i would send you a sample, but this !$#!@#% computer doesn't have a scanner, and i cant seem to find a font/language setting that can type runes. i got this ability by reading another one of my favorite books, The Hobbit.

Does that mean real life magicians intrigue you starting the with the real merlin Ambrosius Arelius (A candidate for King Arthur or his father, he had a preminition about the current King Vortigern, whose character is similar to Mordred), Harry Houdini, George Meilies (magician and movie fx inventor, they still have not figured some of his tricks over a hundred years later), Blackwell, Imhotep ( who was the father of the Egyptian pyramid and thought by some of his time to have magical abilitiies. Even in movies he is the inspiration for the original Mummy movie and like the remake, he is shown to be casting spells.), "The Wizard of Menalo Park" (Thomas Alva Edison's nickname by some), Väinämöinen from the Finnish epic Kalevala (ancient mythical or real life inspiration for Gandalf from Lord of the rings, Aregorn was inspired by Beowulf, Finnish was also the inpiration for the Elven language), Tituba, or Zhang Jiang in Ancient China, or other stories like "Isle of the Dead" by Roger Zelazney,"Sword and the Stone", the tales of Aladin, "The Wizard of Oz", "The Lion, the Witch, and Wardrobe", or movies like "Warlock", "Time Bandits", and "Willow", or games like Dungeons and Dragons, Final Fantasy, Dungeon, Magic the Gathering, or Summoner?

Actually, i am interested a lot by The Lord of the Rings, and i had no idea that was where Elvish came from! I've also read The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, as well as all the Chronicles of Narnia series. I also like Neverwinter Nights, game in which the gameplay is based on D&D while the storyline & setting is based on the Forgotten Realms series. i also like The Seventh Tower and The Lost Years of Merlin. And yes, i admit it, i kinda like Harry Potter, but only a little- its kinda kiddish in some aspects.

But as for real life magicians, no. all the inspiration comes from fantasy stories. Although there was that time where i was at my friend's house in Maine and, after he told me that one of his many magical abilities was to see magical potential in others, and he said i had it and to try to move a small toy on his desk without touching it, i stared at it and i SWEAR it moved. i tried to practice telekinesis for years after that, but it never happened again. strange, huh?

Anyways i need to run. Sayonara!

P.S. Magic is only one of my many interests. i also am interested in war tech. my two favorite games are a fighter jet simulator and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. My Signature is a quote from this game.

Really? So what do you think of "Land Warrior" program, the space fighters, the laser tanks, plastic tank research, spider silk clothes, the new military rifle being developed to replace the m16, the exoskeletons, autonomous vehicles, and smart bullets?
As I said, I have many interests... I can talk to almost anyone topic wise.
