Questions about you
It's quite sad how the term, "Hacker", was hijacked to be almost exclusively COMPUSEC. I remember back when It denoted a builder, modder, or creater. Depending in what aspect you come from will depend on what image you get from a Hacker. If you want to talk Cracking, though... Did it, back in the day. Was quite fun, so was Social Engineering. I'm thinking about revisiting those old days on my home systems. After reading how the NSAcracks systems, I want to try much of it myself. I want to see how like Kevin Mitnick I can be, or how cunning I can be, like Tsutomu Shimomura. I think of Hacking as the ultimate civil service, whether you're a builder/modder, or you're in sys sec. It's all good. I've worked Crypto, Telephony, Telemetry Systems, Net Admin, Sys Admin... I've worked some hardcore f****n' s**t. Just won't say for who.
What is your first name?
Not telling, sorry. But you can call me Keiji.

Copypasting from the friendship board thread...
When I'm not trying to be creative, I like to watch anime (of the less mainstream variety) and let's plays. If you asked what my favorite genre was I'd have to say psychological horror though that's definitely not the only thing I like..! I don't really play videogames very much but I do enjoy Minecraft and Factorio and I'd really like to find some people to play these with.
Why are you here?/How did you find this website?
Having something of an existential crisis recently, increasingly feeling the need to meet new people since I hardly talk to anyone anymore. Suddenly remembered I was all-but-diagnosed with AS (see below), so googled for AS communities and this is what came up!
When were you diagnosed?
When I was 14 - this was after having a lot of behavior issues in school - my mom took me to see a psychologist who said I was a textbook case of AS. However, I say all-but-diagnosed above, because they didn't give us any official record of it, as the school wasn't cooperating as it would mean they'd have to shell out for special extra sessions for me or something. Psychologist said it wouldn't be of any help to officially diagnose me, and that it would just give me a label that would make my life even worse. I actually didn't remember any of this until just a week or so ago when I asked my mom to remind me what happened. I'm still not sure whether an official diagnosis would have actually helped in the long run...
Favorite music:
I like a lot of instrumental stuff. Or stuff where if there are lyrics they actually have meaning. Or stuff that just has meaning to me because of where I first heard it. After finding out how much music can affect me emotionally, I even started carefully crafting what I listen to when so that I could have more of those occasional blissful moments. Eh, it's probably bad for me, but I don't care. :3 So yeah, I don't really have a favorite genre as it's so context-specific.
Books/TV shows/Movies:
People always find this surprising but I hardly read books or watch TV. I tend to get all my fiction from anime and let's plays.
Instrument:
I spent about two years learning to play piano, but nothing really came of that. I still wish I could compose.
Do you like sports?
Nu-uh. Not playing it, nor watching it... 's all rather boring to me :\
Job:
I work full time as a programmer / software engineer.
Plans for the future?
I wish I could actually develop at least one of my hobby projects enough to be released, and for someone to find it useful...
Any comments?
Yes. See the entire rest of my post above.

I agree, Breaking Bad was a great show. I felt very upset when Walter was laying on the ground bleeding from his stomach with the song "Baby Blue-Badfinger" playing.
