When were you diagnosed? At age 18. I believed until I was 22 that I was misdiagnosed. I wasn't.

Favorite subjects: Reading, Christianity, current events, literature, religion, politics, art and music

Hi, I just joined this site today.

I am on the Autistic spectrum with high IQ, poor executive function, good empathy.

I love drawing, language, science, animals and nature in general. I enjoy dancing, yoga, swimming and walking but I haven't done much recently because I am in recovery from M.E. and it has been a difficult year and a half. Things are getting better now though

I didn't know that I was autistic until March.

I live in the UK. I am 29. I hope I can meet friends on here because moving around, being off sick for 7 years and being autistic means that I have ended up without many people to talk to or hang out with.

Any comments? I don't mind being an aspie, but sometimes I get lonely because nobody 'gets' me. Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to share with someone else that I just came up with a new algorithm? Nobody cares, no-one else is interested that I just discovered that there are such things as imaginary numbers, and no-one else gets that 39 is cool because it is 3 x 13 AND because it contains a 3 and a 9!

Do you like sports? If so, which ones?: I love playing sports (hate watching it). I used to play a lot of team sports like netball, rugby, badminton, but now I prefer solo sports like cycling and running.

Family: Mum and sister (2 years older than me). Dad. Half brother (17 years older than me) and half sister (21 years older than me). One niece and one nephew. I'm also very close with my Grandma and my half brother and sisters mum.

Clothing: I range from the comfiest clothing to over the top avant garde, I dress however I am feeling that day.
