As a new member, I have been wondering whether I've been adjusted life outside long term. I've been in long term for 4 months last year and people I was associated with before the hospital admission never agreed to say hi again. It was a psychiatric institution, so I wasn't really able to do anything but maybe get on FB. Months after the discharge, I was re-admitted to a short-term psyche ward for suicidal attempts and just realized my diagnoses was different from those listed in long term. I later was sent back to general population, attended school, and had a job. Two people have offered me their phone numbers and asked me to call them since. That was a blessing, but I haven't decided to. I am an unemployed 20 y/o so maybe this isn't the time. After being terminated from the job, I've been trying my best to focus more on myself to become independent rather than socialize. I've transferred to community college and have been taking courses only online.
