Hello Everyone. I'm new here. 45y male with 3 kids, married 20 years. My 13 year old son was recently diagnosed with high functioning AS. Through this process and research we realized that I meet a lot of the criteria for AS as well.

In some ways its a relief to have a name and others its depressing that I have a problem I can't cure or fix. Since my teenage years I have dealt with loneliness and problems making friends. I always blamed it on being shy, low self esteem, socially awkward, depression or anxiety.

I look forward to reading through the posts and connecting with a community.
