Hello. I'm new here. Received a diagnosis today and after reading through this forum im now 100% sure that i finally have the correct diagnosis after years of not quite fitting the criteria for a number of different conditions. i am 29 and live near liverpool in england. i hope im welcome here as i dont feel i am anywhere else LOL! so hello! anybody from anywhere near me? Anybody just want to chat? looking forward to getting to know some like minded people. NTs are so boring anyway take care

I'm just across the Pennines in West Yorkshire - and also not diagnosed until adulthood - so there are a handful of us 'Northerners' about. You (and others from the UK) might be interested in a little UK community called Aspie Village. It's specifically for adults on the spectrum, and has real-world meetups a few times a year. I'm just working up the courage to attend my first meet, over in Blackpool in the spring.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has written back to welcome me. I already feel more at home amongst the people here than i ever have anywhere in my life before and i am very excited about becoming a regular contributor here. Thanks guys, you're all amazing
