So...hi. I'm new. But you probably gathered as much from the title.

I'm C, 17, will be a senior next year. I'm a complete nitpicker about grammar but try not to bother on the internet because a) I'd spend too long proofreading my posts until they were perfect, and b) the intertube is an endless swamp of poor typing anyway. I'm basically a nerd, I read a lot, play D&D/a couple other games, listen to lots of music, and kill time on the 'net(obviously!) I love languages, speak some Spanish, and pick up random bits of internet-speak(slang, |_337, etc.) I'll be an English major in college and hope to find a job editing and proofreading when I'm through. I love dice and currently own about 70 d6 in random colours and a few others that I thought looked pretty(...okay, I use them too, but what's wrong with collecting? Nothing, that's what). I also love animals, photography, and animal photography, so I spend a lot of time at the zoo. No pets for now, but hopefully I'll have one or two(or ten) at some point. My favorite book series are the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy(Douglas Adams) and The Dark Tower(Stephen King). Don't even ask about music. No, seriously. It goes from 70's to country to metal to electronica and back 'round to 70's, with a lot in-between.

Sorry it's kind of a novel, but that's alright. I hope.

I have, actually. Not many, but I'm working on that...so far, just The Light Fantastic and Thud!, along with Good Omens, though it's not really part of the series.

Hi C/XII (common isotope of carbon?)

I'm embarrassingly old enough to have seen the original stage version of H2G2, at the ICA in London. It was billed something like "Come and fly around the universe". I meant it. Shortly after getting in and sat down, the audience went up on hoverpads, and were rotated to face the first set. Had a Galactic Gargle Blaster in the interval.
