Hi. My name is Allison Fairbanks Kimball (I would rather not have anybody use my middle name). I am 19 years old, and I am a freshman at Keuka College. I live on Glenora on Seneca Lake, New York. My house is right on the lake, and it is a really beautiful area. Lots of tourists come here all year round. My neighbors are mostly my relatives, along with some friends of the family. I have a VERY extended family. I love animals, photography, drawing, writing books (Just finished a 27 chapter novel, and having someone pre-edit it-This is NOT a joke), watching Disney movies, etc. I have two very handsome cats. They were littermates. Their names are Buster and Arthur. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I will talk to no end (LOL!! Story of my life). I have wisdom well beyond my years, and if I have to relate to one character in a movie, it would be Belle from "Beauty and the Beast". Like her, I am beautiful inside and outside. But as stunning (and dare I say fashionable) as I am, I can come off as a bit strange to some people. I don't care what people think, I like to make my own friends and love them for who they are, I am always looking for adventure, and I want a little romance in my life someday (...Not YET, please...I'm just a kid...). I also love the sound of babies laughing. SO contagious!! I have many little cousins that are still very young, so maybe that's why I'm so used to it...

My novel is mainly about the lives of two high-schoolers. The boy is a freshman, the girl is a sophomore. Their names are Brianna and Jackson. Jackson is shy and sweet, but also very smart, and loves nothing more than playful food battles, snowball fights, and having his friends there to support him (He sometimes gets embarrassed though by their playful teasing), he also loves to flirt with Brianna, who should be a freshman, even though she is a sophomore (she only turned 15 in August, the summer before school began). They get bullied, and they have to face both good and bad things. Jackson is the new kid, but Brianna shows him around. In return, he helps her with her problems (which were kept a secret in her freshman year; dealing with "false friends", and only one who was nice to her; her BFF Katie, who is sweet and cute as a button, but very ditsy and hyper sometimes. She loves Brianna more than anything, and will defend her to no end. The two kids meet some new friends by the way. And Jackson goes from timid and confused, to strong, helpful, and defiant. He also gains some independence, maturity, and confidence. Being the new kid in town was never easy for him, but he's got this!!

That sounds like a good book!

Hi. I'm 19 aswell. Have You, by any chance, had Your IQ checked and if so: mind telling what was Your score? New here, not sure why does it inerest me but it does and since it' s internet I decided to ask.

Maybe a 90-110? I may be blonde-ish and short, and dramatic when I want to be, but I have a pretty high average IQ. Don't play dumb with me using baby talk, and explaining things in simple words, I can understand what you're saying perfectly clearly. I can also be a bit snarky in a playful, humorous way. Since I have an older brother. And good friends who playfully tease me back. It's kind of our little game of fun. Harmless, really. But never have I used it for mean-ness.

When I was a kid I used to do hardness, streak, and texture with rocks. I didn't know it was science, though, until I was in 10th grade, and 16 years old. When I found out, childhood memories came back (I have the memory of an elephant sometimes when it comes to stuff like that), and I laughed out loud. "So that's where that interest spiked out of nowhere!! Go fig... " I even wore a pencil behind my ear as a kid, because I thought it was "cool and smart-looking". I'm not AS "dorky" now, but I DO wear big tortoiseshell glasses, and I love how they look on me. I also still do messy buns, but not as much as I did in middle or high school. Those days will probably end soon. As for right now, I am still a gangly, 19 year old girl, who is clumsy sometimes, and doesn't always pay attention to her surroundings (I am VERY easily distracted-Doesn't help I have a super weird obsession with squirrels... Don't ask. I just think they are cute, and I want to cuddle with one. That's pretty much it. Weird, I know...But hey!! Welcome to MY world).

Imperfections ARE "perfect" in my world...And I'm imperfect. But I LIKE IT!! It's me. Who cares what perfect IS anyways...It doesn't exist, and to all those who think they are the CLEAR DEFINITION of perfect?! ! NO you are NOT!! ! Nobody is, okay, people?!

...Geez... Some people, I swear. They can be SO oblivious to the real world...

It's a bit sad, really...

I made a little post about how much I missed my grandfather. He died last winter, and Christmas was a bit sad for me because it was my first year without him... He even won the Purple Heart in the Korean War long, long ago... He was very special to me.

Am I boring anyone? Sorry if I made you guys want to snore and fall asleep reading my post. I just wanted to make some new friends, that's all... I have anxiety issues, and can be a bit sensitive sometimes, so I worry about that stuff a lot. I also hate it when people get mad at me, because then I wonder what I did, regret it, and try desperately to make things right. So please let me know if I get a bit annoying, okay? I never mean to be irritating, I just like to talk about my life, and how great it IS and HAS been. That's all.
