Who's there?

Me!

Hi. I've just joined.

I'm a portrait artist, home cook who owns over 30 cookbooks, reader of scientific non-fiction books and also fan of romantic classical music and literature such as Chopin, Schubert, Thomas Hardy, Mark Twain, the Brontes, Shelley and Byron.

I have longer than average hair for a man and on a good day as I walk around town in my long cream coat I've been known to turn many heads.

But you know what I'm better at than anything else? Bragging! Ha ha, I'm just joking. Well, I had to say that because I was beginning to look a little too in love with myself.

It's great to be here.

and speaking of long hair, you're in company here, many other guys here [including moi :afro: ] also like to wear their hair long, I've had a pony tail off and on since young adulthood.

Thank you!

My favourite things to cook are
1) roast sausages with lentils and tomato salsa,
2) chicken thighs in orange sauce
and 3) lettuce, onion and pine nut salad with mayo.

I didn't either until I went on a college course. I did a 10 week course and it got me into it. It's never too late to learn.

why does the eating take only like 3 minutes, but the cooking and dish-washing all day?
