I would like to hear from fellow newbies.

I'm a newbie.
In the sense that I am new to the site and newly aware that my differences have a name and I am actually not 'weird', just 'wired' differently. Weird...wired... same letters so the dumb-asses were almost right.
I'm in Australia where we have access to little information and the stigma of being different is still akin to 1950's racism.
Worst thing I could say here is that I'm a black, schizophrenic lesbian who worships Satan and eats children. Heaven forbid anyone show a little thing called tolerance and understanding...
