Hello
I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome at a very young age. I had a lot of problems in school but I was always academically inclined, so I did well. Growing up I put the diagnosis very very far in the back of my mind. I didn't want to believe that I was not a normal person. I never told a soul about it. Only my family ever knew until now. Here, at the age of 22, after perpetually struggling to find my way, I have finally started to acknowledge my diagnosis and come to terms with it. I feel the journey to self acceptance is going to be a long one. Anyway, thanks for reading and I'm happy to be on here.
