Hi, Everyone. I'm Oliver and I am a man from Algarve but currently living in Ireland. Are there any other Aspies from Ireland here? I'm particularly interested in knowing if any of you like to write Software and if you would like me to contribute to your projects. Or maybe, if you have an out-of-the-box idea, we might launch a company. Beside science and computers my interests are far east countries and also a country I love dearly, Israel. I was wondering if there are fellow Aspies around from Israel or from China/Japan/Korea/Vietnam, etc.

Best,
O

Hi and welcome, Oliver :)! I’m no help in regard those countries, as I’m from Australia, though living in the UK. Great idea, though. There have been quite a few companies launched by those on the spectrum. Some, quite successful(eg Specialisterne, a Danish company now operating in Australia, Northern Ireland, Canada & Singapore, and Left is Right, in Sweden). Good to have you with us.

Hi Oliver!

What kinds of software projects have you worked on thus far?

(For the past several years the main project I've been working on has been an custom electronic medical records system for a medical lab.)

We, as a community, need more Autistic-friendly workplaces.

We also need networking organizations for autistic people who work in, or want to work in, particular categories of professions / occupations / jobs. One of these categories would be technical fields.
