I don’t mean “fit in.”

I mean don’t assume NTs are the “enemy.”

I figured the reason why NTs are seen as the enemy is because of not fitting in with them.

Not all NT are bad, just as not all ND are good . Having a superior intellect should be, whether ND or NT, about doing your best to help others. It shouldn't be about a cock fight for bragging rights .

There are people, NT's included, who don't believe "fitting in" is the most important thing.

I realized my preceding post is almost negating your experience of trauma, exclusion, blame, etc (trust me that was my own experience too, to what degree in comparison to you i don't knw, but it can't be ignored).

I don't mean to ignore that bit. I got too side-tracked talking endlessly about my kids (which is annoying + irrelevant for others) with too many details.

It seems a vast change IS happening, in a good way, for the next generation, thanks to the experiences (trauma and all) of those older than them, the conversation expanding, etc. It makes me quite jealous to be honest.

But then you also see the old way of thinking lingering in people who should know better, tendency to blame, gaslight, and use autism or 'crazy' etc, to explain everything away in an unfair, abusive way.

It's very confusing, to be honest.

I don't negate your experience, but I did want to point out that basically my kids ARE impaired and directly ASd-related (this social bit is just one aspect). That the label has been used by some to actually include them to whatever extent possible. There is the bad side, too, seen for the elder by certain (fired) professionals, certain people...

I didn't notice, but lt's thoughtful of you to consider.

More unbiased research is coming to light on autism, which is certainly a great thing. However, the biased research still prevails. Just as people take random passages from the Bible out of context to support their inane views, so too' do people with scientific research. And just as the Bible was rewritten by biased people, much of scientific research is conducted by biased people. The facts being available is not enough. It's our attitudes that are holding us back.

Could you provide some evidence that their impairments are somehow directly related to autism?

i did, anecdotal of course nas everything i write is based on my experience, look at the post about the genetics testing.
do u want to come meet my kids, esp the elder, and see what he has to deal with?

That won't be necessary. I meant an online source. Your doctor suggested that lt's related to autism, but did not say so definitively, so that doesn't prove that autism is involved. Despite this, you seem to still believe this diagnosis. As someone with a lot of first-hand experience with doctors, I can tell you that a lot of doctors are morons. The fact that she suggested that the disorder is due to autism, something which is impossible, leads Me to believe she is another one of these doctors. Though she could simply be misguided. Either way, don't be so quick to believe your doctor.

For instance, in 2014 I caught a virus that causes interstitial cystisis, a little-understood condition that affects the bladder. I went to a doctor in 2018 for lt & they could not detect anything. I ended up curing lt Myself the next year, something I wouldn't be able to do lf I wasn't smarter than the doctors.

Doctors have to get information the same way we do. Yet due to medical bias, they often make mistakes. I have been afflicted with more physical disorders than I care to count. None of them were ever cured by doctors, but I managed to cure some. I'll most likely end up curing them all. The medical system exists to make money. Sometimes they do legitimately help people, but I have never been helped. I still have disorders from My toddler years as a result.

Please do your own research. Do not leave his life in the hands of the corrupt medical system. Even lf you can't or shouldn't help him, lt is very important to properly understand his condition, not only for his sake, but also for the sake of autists, whose lives are severely & negatively impacted by every false diagnosis that involves the autistic mental state. If you do non-biased research about the autistic mental state & about disorders & you are capable of combining information, you will see exactly what I have been saying. It is literally impossible for any disorder to be a direct result of autism. If you look at the proper definitions, you will see that the two are complete opposites.

There are literally dozens of reasons, all supported by scientifically tested facts, that prove autism to be a healthy & natural alternative paradigm. Unlike with, say, schizophrenia, nothing good comes from seeing autism as a disorder. Accepting that he has a disorder that is not caused by autism changes nothing for him, but everything for autistic people. Anything that will lead to less persecution of decent people without any consequences is a rare example of a perfect opportunity to commit a holy deed. Autistic people need companionship & understanding, not stigma.

I don't have any problems with you. But lf you consider yourself a decent person, then I implore you to consider these words. Autists are just people like anyone else, but with floating words over their heads. They desserve happiness.
