Hirk Eukvic here. That's not my real name, but the real me is hidden somewhere in there. I just landed in Silicon Valley earlier this year and stumbled upon your crew after reading NeuroTribes. I was diagnosed in my 30s and am early in my journey of self understanding. Hopefully I can make some non-imaginary friends here?

Hi and a very warm welcome to you ! You say you've just landed in Silicon Valley ... what part of the US did you move from(if you don't mind me asking/interrogating you over ? Hope you had a gentle landing and that life there will be kind to you. I landed in England a few years ago now from Australia, and it's been an interesting time. Well, I've lived in six states, most recently Montana for graduate school (didn't finish, probably never will). I've also lived in China and Indonesia, so all the moving around contributes to my feeling of not belonging anywhere. My wife has a similar background (and she's also probably on the spectrum). We are the only friends we have around here and that works out alright.
