Hello. Read about this page in Unmasking Autism - Devon Price. Am I in the right place? The rest of this form is confusing. I don't know how to attach a signature. Is that necessary? And I don't have a poll question. Just want to connect with (old women) who have recently realized who they really are. Thank you.

I haven't heard of this person or book before (Unmasking Autism - Devon Price). The Internet provides the following description:

Roughly 2% of adults in the United States have Autism Spectrum Disorder – that's about 5.4 million people over the age of 18. And a lot of them go through their lives "masking."

Social psychologist Devon Price explains that masking is any attempt or strategy "to hide your disability." Price's new book, Unmasking Autism: Discovering the New Faces of Neurodiversity, explores masking, and how to "unmask" and live more freely.

So in answer to your question, YES, you are in the right place.

Hello Catherine Safer. Fellow old person and recently-realized autistic here. Also a newbie on these forums.

I'm 61, and not a "recently-realized" autistic. I was diagnosed back in about 1964.

Will you still talk to me? :)

Welcome.
