I was just diagnosed with Asperger's a little while ago and thought I'd find a discussion forum in which to seek help and friends and such.

I'm Mike. I'm 34. I live in Maine. I'm married and have a little 1 m.o. daughter named Olivia.

I'm not sure of what to say or what to ask so I'll lurk for a while and if something comes up, I'll ask or chime in.

Hi Mike. I'm a newbie too. Its great to meet you. I'm still undiagnosed but I just got a referral to go see a local doctor they say is pretty good at this sort of thing :)

I've avoided diagnosis all my life; I'm 37. I always felt that it wouldn't be an advantage for me to have AS formally identified. I changed my mind last week because of the real need to make other people aware of how they need to help me. What worked when I was 17 or 27 years old, doesn't work anymore for me now at 37.
