Mum - trying to understand

Hi everyone, hope its ok to post here, I am a mum of AS son, aged 13 and another NT son. My husband is also maybe Aspergic. Its good to find a site that is posted on so much by people with the syndrome, I am hoping it will give me an insight into understanding and developing a better relationship with my son and husband.

My husband and NT son also have synesthesia, of which I am extremely jealous, their world must be so colourful. Wish I could be a better mum for my son...

thanks everyone, I am from Shropshire Tequila, I notice a lot of people seem to be from the States

Most people here are from the US and Canada, though there is quite a big British contingent here.

Hello and welcome. I am Mom to 2, possibly 3 children with AS and one who is NT. They are 16 (AS), 14 (NT), 13 (AS) and 6 (possibly AS but definitely ADHD). This is the best place I have found so far to gain understanding of AS. The people are generally very kind, informative, supportive and most of all, genuine in what AS is and how it affects them.

Iceb...where in shropshire or is that TMI? By the way, I loved Blake 7, I will never forget sitting there absolutely stunned when they all got killed, because I wasnt expecting it! lol
