I tend to connect small stories of my life with music pieces and then I tend to listen to them over and over again until they made their point. I helps me sort trough emotions.
YES! I almost made a thread on this topic. I have Alexithymia so it's very difficult for me to put my experiences in words. I'm able to bridge that gap with music lyrics. I've been known to play one song on repeat for up to 10 or 12 hours, at times. It's incredible how I'll have a weird feeling and not be sure how to express it, and something guides me to the perfect song even if I've never heard it before and it's in my YT list.
I'm the same with printed photographs because I can't picture people / things, so I'm kind of obsessed with photo albums and framed photos. Digital is OK too but there's something magical about having a printed copy to touch and hold.
