Hi folks,

My name's Joël, I'm 34 years old and from Luxembourg. When I was 9, I was diagnosed with ADHD and placed in various healthcare institutions in Germany. My parents made some poor decisions at the time, but it wasn't because they didn't care.

I somehow made it through and moved out on my own when I turned 18, which helped me a lot. I then joined the army, which turned out to be a bad choice, and stayed there for 4 years before moving on to work in a bank. After 2 years, I felt the need for a change and became a civil servant in a high school, where I'm still working today. Four years ago, I finally received an autism diagnosis, which explained a lot.

I also co-founded a startup with two partners, with the goal of creating a neurodivergent-friendly ecosystem. Right now, my days are filled with work, but I really enjoy it. My special interests are definitely ancient Rome and coin collecting 8)
