Hello...unfortunately, I never seem to know quite how to begin posts...

Essentially, I am posting here because I felt it most appropriate for my initial post on Wrong Planet to be an introductory one in the "Getting to Know Each Other" forum. However, another topic in this forum caught my eye before I could make such a post, and I responded to that one. It bothers me a little that my first post is not technically an introductory one...though at least it was under the "Getting to Know Each Other" forum. That is some consolation...

However, I digress. Please excuse my rambling. I have been known to do that. Anyway, I have been observing Wrong Planet for quite some time now, and I decided it was time for me to join. In any case, I hope that I will be more accepted at Wrong Planet than I have been on other forums, which may or may not be aimed toward neurotypicals.

Believe me, I "get" technical. That would bother me, too

I crave order and proper sequencing. (And I love the word "sequencing" -- all the rounded letters!) Anyway, when it comes to me, things like this are so precarious that the smallest deviation from "correct order" can send my day into a tailspin!

From what I have observed so far, the people here seem to be very nice. And everyone here, as far as I am aware, is either autistic or wants to learn more about AS, so I see no reason for anyone to behave rudely to you. I am NT but my friend and two family members are autistic. I'm here to learn more about AS so I can understand them better and I want to be a teacher, so I feel it is extremely important to learn as much as I can.
