Ill start.

I have a job interview on Monday, and have no appropriate clothing, so I'm going to Ross to see if I can find clothes. I am so not looking forward to this excursion. I hate Ross, I hate shopping, I hate spending money...

Tonight might be okay - going to a benefit with free pupus at a nice restaurant. It's for a local gay students' association, and some of my gay acquaintances will be there. They are sometimes amusing to be with. Or it could be another social disaster.

Oh! The one thing I'm looking forward to is spying on my hen. I found her nest yesterday (very well hidden) but she wouldn't leave the nest so I could see the eggs. I'm going to lure her away with chicken scratch so I can count the eggs and see what color they are - I'm excited about that!

I have absolutely nothing going on in my life today :(
In fact, I'm not doing anything until Wednesday when Norman from the NAS comes round (I think), then on Thursday I have to go and see a counselor and then I have my first exam on Friday.
I have nothing to do today though :( I played in the garden and then I played Zelda with my brother. I don't have a very exciting life.

Aylissa, Goodluck with your interview

As a sort of update on my family get together (the one I would rather bleed from the eyeballs and vomit, than go to) ... well I think I'm going (next week).

I reminded my father that it was #2 son's birthday, so he remembered. Me and my boys went to see him
7 step mother for lunch, yesterday. Since it looked the last weekend of warm weather, I decided to go for a snorkel/skin dive too (dad's place is by the beach). However it rained (not forecast) and it was relatively cold but since I had decided to swim, we went swimming anyway. Is it an aspie thing to be inflexible? Most people would say we were crazy to go swimming in that weather, but I'd decided I was going to. Anyway, warm water is over rated.

Today? Not a lot. I'm dossing around here for another half an hour or so. Then I'm off for a walk and then I'm away to the pub for an hour or so.

I went to Chester yesterday, which is a city about 90 minutes drive away from where I live. It's very near the border with Wales. Here's what I thought of it:

Set off at about 12:10pm and ended up in Chester at about 1:40pm. We drank in various establishments all day and into the evening. We didn't actually do any shopping; Chester looks pretty much like any other city but with a more 'historic' feel.

The city was actually quite poor on the real ale front - only about half the places we stopped actually served cask beer, and then often it was not up to scratch. Prices varied quite a bit. A pint was anything from £1.69 (Pedigree in a branch of JD Wetherspoons) to £2.70 (a pint of cider in an all-keg city centre pub). The pub I wanted to go to, The Bear and Billet, was spacious but very disappointing. My pint of Okells Bitter was warm.

After that we hunted round for somewhere to eat. Most places were shut and the ones that were open either looked very expensive or didn't cater for us lot. We went back to Wetherspoon's where two of us had a "2 for £7" deal. Only problem was, we were still hungry after that owing to all the beer we'd consumed. We basically carried on drinking elsewhere until it was time to go home. I felt our stay in Chester was a bit too long as for the last hour most of the people we were with were tired and wanted to go home.

When the bus came I was quite drunk but not overly so. A few of the young lads on the bus with us had beendrinking shots all day and were completely bladdered. I had a considerable amount to drink but to be honest I was a little disappointed by Chester. Not enough real ale and the places that did serve it were mediocre.

They have a good Roman museum in Chester. I like the buildings there as well.

Good luck on your interview, Alyssa!

Nothing going on today. Just internet, doing crossword puzzles, and reading.

I feel much better today than yesterday. I am going to try working somewhere very soon, and I have a very appropriate work outfit picked out for the occasion!

Good luck on your job interview!

Yes, I'm sure that Batman outfit will fit your desk job quite nicely!

It's not a Batman outfit.

I know that, it's a joke! (I thought the wink and the laughing Smileys gave it away...)

I am watching the Simpsons tonight, then working Monday-Thursday, and going to my therapist on Friday.

The elevator in my apartment building is broken and won't be fixed until Tuesday. Only the athletic people have an outside life at all. The rest of us don't even have groceries or pizzas. I will have to take the stairs if we run out of dog food.

Nothing really. I should be doing my homework for Computer Programming and Algebra II, but I'm here wasting time instead.

It's a nice day today, although maybe a bit warm. I went to the mall, but only to sit and read a book at the food court (there is a place with fries that I like). Then I drove to Valley Forge monument and walked over to the Memorial Arch. Then I come home and have been on the internet, mostly here. I am tired now, and meant to do something else less demanding but I have been hanging around WP for some reason.

I have a cold, and homework to do. I have to do an investigation about lasers, and this Tuesday I have to expose it to my Optoelectronics class. I really hate it!
