Wobbit here... dunno much of what to say as an introduction to myself, really, which is a feeling I'm sure everyone here could sympathize with, if everyone here could sympathize (joke).

More seriously, I'm 22, and my little brother was diagnosed autistic (changed to AS) about a year ago, the first I'd heard of AS except in passing. Upon doing my own research via the handy dandy interwebs, the walls kind of came crashing in when I found something that completely described my unusual childhood, and many of my current problems, in a neat little package. I've spent my time since then coming to grips with the fact that some aspects of my life *need* to change. For survival and also for fully realizing my potential.

That said, I wouldn't trade it away for the world (or, more appropriately, for NTism). I've been lurking for about a week now before registering, and I must say I'm darn well pleased to meet y'all. Hopefully I'll finally fit in somewhere.

It is better to fit in somewhere. We are all trying that reach our potential stuff, or evade the world. Both are popular.

Welcome to the playground Wobbit.

All: Thanks for the welcomes :D *fuzzy*

krex, alexbeetle: Maybe we can have a house of rock for beetles, and a House of Rock for the Beatles. I miss the Beatles.

Smelena: that's my fault, i typed the heading before I realized someone had reversed all the keys on my keyboard. I fixed it now... looks like they got you too, though
