...well, actually not really too new. I've been around here for a while, but I thought it was about time to post and introduce myself now that I have the courage (I'm a bit shy)! 
My boyfriend told me about this place a long time ago, and it looks really cool here, so I'm brave now!
I'm Krissy, I'm 18, and I'm unofficially diagnosed, but I might as well be. My dad's a psychologist and he says definitely am an Aspie (he's not allowed to diagnose me, though). My mother, however, is afraid to let me get diagnosed and will not listen to my dad lol. She's nice, though.

Thanks! Hmmm...I think I have too many interests to count! hehe!
Let's see...I LOVE drawing (possibly one of my favorite things to do), playing piano, singing, writing...fun stuff like that. I love art stuff. I also have an obsession for all things Japanese, I have ever since like age 10. I've always had the weirdest obsessions haha.

I also have an obsession for the arts; I love playing my trombone and drawing mainly. I haven't developed an obsession for all things that are Japanese, but I do have an obsession for things that have to do with music (maybe not and obsession, but rather an interest?) Anyways, I'm glad that you're here and found WrongPlanet; it's truly a wonderful place for any Aspie to be, diagnosed officially or not.

I think my dad's afraid to say definite to me cause my mom will yell ^__^ lol
It is cool to have my dad be a psychologist, but I never really understood what he did till I was older. I always wondered when I was younger why daddy always said the right things to help me at least partially understand any problems I had. But whenever he commented on anything AS-related with me, my mom would get all weird lol. She means well, though

she obviusly has no idia whatsoever what AS is, i think if she did shed be extatic to find out you had it, at leest more likely than act the way she does anyway

Yeah, she has absolutely no idea what it is, cause when my dad mentioned it, she kept asking what it was (i guess he assumed she knew for some reason). And she couldn't find it on google cause she doesn't know how to spell it hehe. My dad seemed ecstatic that I have it, cause he told me that my aunt, uncle, and grandmother on his side have it, and has all but told me that he has it as well ^_^
