Location: Orange county, California (btw for those who don't know, apparently the show the OC doesn't represent us verry well. I've never seen an episode but my friend told me how they said one area of it was a "slum" and I nearly ROFLed myself)

Hobbies and Interests: Horror, spooky stuff, music, art, piercings, tattoos, other odd body modification type stuff, fantasy fiction, science fiction, movies,roleplaying games, the list goes on and on really

Why are you here? I have aspergers and I've never really interacted with other AS sufferers before, so far its been fun. The people are nice, maybe I'm seeking an extra sense of community in my life I don't know....why are you here? lol

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Well I believe it was when I was about thirteen or fourteen, maybe abit earlier or later. It's been a long time really. But before that I'd been diagnosed with a whooole bunch of really off the wall and wierd stuff that isn't exactly true until they finally figured out what was up.

Favorite subjects: In school? Well I'd have to say sociology and philosophy. I also Love anything where I get to learn about religeons and any kind of mythology or story. However if its about the abrahamic religeons I really prefer that its more the fantastic parts or minutiae that doesn't get focused on or might not exactly be cannon (like the stuff in the 'outside books' which is a bunch of books people decided didn't belong in the bible)

Year/Grade: I'm in college.

Favorite music: i like most types of music. Usually I listen to goth or industrial though. For the most part I don't like metal or country, but there are some gems in both. As I said I like most music.

Books: Probably fantasy novels, horror novels, etc.. I haven't been reading much lately recreationally gonna be going back to read the hairy potter series though. I finally got it sunk into my head that their probably good books lol.

TV shows/Movies: Pretty much keep the same theme as before, fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. But add anime as well. I also rather enjoy the stuff the have on adult swim on cartoon network and various history channel shows. Oh yeah and forensic shows/crime shows! NCIS, CSI, Law and order, the Unit, ohh and Supernatural is awesome.

Instrument: I wish I played guitar and were a trained vocalist, so far I sing in my car like a jackass and have had a couple verry short lessons on someone elses guitar. (hey I'm on my way to learning the chords to Johnny Cash's cover of the NIN song Hurt )

Do you like sports? Not really, I mean I'll watch hockey especially if I'm actually at the stadium. But thats about it.

Family: I love my family!

Clothing: Black, and alot of it doesn't fit well cause I've been loseing weight. So I need to buy new clothes, they'll all be black too though

Plans for the future? Well i want to learn guitar, but thats later down the line. First I need to finish this stuff with school registration, Meet someone (in That cappacity yes), get this whole danceing thing down maybe takeing a class or something, then find a way to get a good amount of money with little effort.(legally of course)

Jpop, Kpop, Classical, Symphonic Metal, VGM (videogame music) since its like classical, Wierd Al (he is a genre of his own!), some random stuff. I hate 95% of rap, but there are a few select songs I enjoy. I just don't like songs that swear to swear, and I'm hypersensitive to that god-awful bass that is always over-exetrated in rap. >.<

Books:
Harry Potter, Kokoro, various manga (Shounen Jump fan), Spiderman. I can enjoy books, but I prefer manga/comics since I normaly can keep my interest with them. If I'm struggling to try to get through the first chapter, I normaly give up on the book.

TV shows/Movies:
Currently: Heroes, Smallville, 24, and Family Guy

Clothing:
Normaly jeans and a dark colored t-shirt. If it was acceptable, I would wear black khaki's and black shirt all the time. I do what I can to fit in...although jeans and a dark colored shirt everyday is probably the same. Maybe one day I'll buy some new cloths and change it more to my liking. Although I normaly wear some kind of sports shoes (running/crosstraining) since I do like to keep in shape and I like how they feel (normaly light and tight).

Unsure. :/ I like my graveshift job, but it wont cut the bills for the lifestyle I want to live. I hope to do something with my BA when I graduate...not sure yet. :/ It's something that I have been thinking about long and hard over the summer, since I will be graduating next summer.

Why are you here? > Not sure exactly. I read an article recently about autism and aspergers and realized how much it sounds like me. I took the AQ test and scored a 36. I googled aspergers and wound up here.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): > I was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder about 7 years ago, but there's a lot that it doesn't cover (inability understand spoken directions, obsessive behavior, zero empathy for other people, etc). I haven't spoken to anyone about AS.

Favorite subjects: > I haven't been to school in years but I really liked anything with music. Geography, geometry were big favorites. (Imagine that, math you can SEE!)

Do you like sports? Only bike riding. Like to do 20 miles a day (not as hard as it sounds) gonna get studded tires this year and try to ride all year. Anchorage is KNOWN for its exceptional bike trails.
Family: Moms dead, spoke to my father for the first time in 8 years 2 days ago. 20 year old daughter,autistic 6 year old daughter, and a daughter who would be 24 in Oct. (she was murdered 4 1/2 years ago.

Clothing: As comfy as possiable have to dress up for work so i'm a slob unless I'm there. Don't really care what I wear as long as it's functional for my needs of the moment

Job: Fine Dining Server at proably one of the top 3 restaraunts in the pacific northwest.only work 4 days a week 4-6 hiours a day. FABULOUS boss. Offered to cosign for my car. NICE people at work.
Plans for the future? want to start a bike tour co. here in Alaska. also fundraising for service dogs for autistic people, and raise funds for modified bikes for special needs people. (EXTREAMLY spendy,) I'v checked. when they say "Contact us for pricing" you know it's up there in the 3-6 thousand range.

Any comments?a clean house all organized would be fantastic, but when given the choice between dishes or that new book it's not a tuff call. Really looking forward to interacting w/ you all instead of being "That lady who's a little weird" with everyone else.
