Validating yourself before an appearance is just an important part of saying''hi'' than anything which involves complex rational thought. A non-typical female wants a male to show some attention so,by posting hundreds of pictures might not be ideal when you are browsing a net but becoming like lost property seems to be a recurrent theme.
I wonder what would happen to a profile that wasn't listed,like on Tinder, and someone just got away with it?
If you need to feel validated just look in the mirror, the net allows too many strangers to make poor judgements and act in poor taste, and this thread only pays thanks to the women who act like post-its around here.

This is pure speculation, but i daresay it is because women seem more reserved about their opinions on a males appearance. And do not have the compelling urge to compliment.

The basis for this is anyones guess. Cultural, genetic, psychological, etc.

I personally, would enjoy flattering comments on my appearance, but i know it aint gonna happen.

Well I wasn't speculating that the reasons are bad or that men are objectifying women in this thread, I was just pointing out a trend. I agree the reason can be anything. I don't think the males complimenting women are purely viewing them as objects as much as its just hardwired into men to compliment women to increase their "chances" in a relationship. Even if there is no hope for a relationship, I think men compliment women out of habit. Even if you have a quote on quote "unattractive" woman, I think men would default to finding something to compliment so yeah its probably a cultural or social thing.

Yeah. That is the way guys are, they're like dogs on heat.
And girls often enjoy the attention. Sometimes women post for attention, you'll see a lot of that on facebook & instagram. They often have guys who are known as orbiters - they don't know her, but follow and 'like' or comment, and it is a way to boost her selfesteem. Sometimes girls have friendzoned boy friends solely for self esteem building complements.
If a girl posts a picture in the womens only section, I bet she'd get just as many comments from the females though.

Also there are probably many more guys on these forums, so girls are going to get a greater proportion of responses.
